Chapter on Ian Rankin's Detective Rebus published
My copy of Barry Forshaw's Crime Uncovered: Detective has arrived, with my chapter on Ian Rankin's Detective Inspector John Rebus. I called it "An Investigation into Contradiction" because of Rankin's penchant for exploring opposites like good and evil, light and dark, rich and poor, Jekyll and Hyde, through his famous detective and also through his depictions of his adopted home town, Edinburgh.
